The end of a Superb Day! Ribblehead Viaduct at dusk...

London Midland and Scoyish Railway (LMS)
Jubilee Class No 5690 (BR No 45690) Leander is a preserved British Steam Locomotive
Leander was built at the crewe worksin March 1936.
She was said to be calleg Leander after the Greek hero.

Looks like you two had a grand day away.
It's always ashame when a good day comes to an end.
Funny how it takes an age to get there and then it's gone in fleeting moments, but you at lest have some great photos of your day out.

We did indeed and yes, it does come and go quickly. There's summat nostalgic about preserved railways and always a treat when they have an event! We're not 'anoraks' really - honest! Chlo says woof! (she's asleep for a change). Next post is last weekend's walk to Bronte Falls - Clo (sheepface we call, as she is fscinated 'em) graced us with her company and Markie fell over more than once (as he does!) but we all laughed (including Clo) xxx
